The Bridgeport Sporting Rifle is an 1874 Rifle with some of the common features found on Sharps Rifles manufactured after the Sharps Rifle Company relocated to Bridgeport Connecticut in 1875. 

This rifle features the following: 30″ #1 Heavy Barrel with “Tulip” transition to the action, fore-end with Schnabel, buttstock with Bridgeport Checkered Steel (Shotgun) butt plate, Color Case action with double set triggers, and Drilled and Tapped for Tang Sight. Custom lengths of pull and engraving are available on request.

The rifle shown has a pistol grip, shotgun-style metal buttplate, upgraded Hartford nose cap, Soule Long Range Tang Sight, Buckhorn Barrel Sight, and Globe w/ Apps.
